Dr. Karina Adamczyk
Dr. Adamczyk graduated from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA with a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences in 2010. After working as a veterinary technician at Companion Animal Hospital, she decided to pursue her career in veterinary medicine. She attended Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences and graduated in 2016.
She has special interests in preventative medicine, anesthesia, nutrition, behavior, cardiology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and clinical pathology.
A current resident of Fairfax, VA she shares her home with seven furry companions to include, three rescue dogs, "Taz," an American Eskimo Spitz, "Hunter" a Silky Terrier, and "Daphne" an Airedale Terrier. She also has four guinea pigs, "Socket," "Sockers," "Pixie," and "Sock."
When not practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dogs, riding horses, going to the beach, and mentoring students interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
